Michelle Burton

Program Director
Michelle is a wife, mother, trauma-informed doula, childbirth educator, and CLS. Michelle has been serving families through birthwork since 2019. Michelle currently studies Human Development and Family Sciences at Illinois State University. She is also enrolled in Mercy in Action College of Midwifery in their distanced CPM program.

Isis Rose

Executive Director
Isis Rose is a student midwife, doula, CLC, and anthropologist. After researching birth justice in grad school and planning home births, Isis became a passionate supporter of midwifery and out-of-hospital-birth. She currently studies at Commonsense Childbirth School of Midwifery with plans to become a licensed, certified professional midwife.

Victoria Baez

Victoria is a Latina artist, yoga instructor, and birth work organizer. With a bachelors in sociology and a master's in art education, Victoria strives to pair her creativity with her passion for working in community. In 2020, she received her doula certification and has since continued to learn about birth.
